Dr. Robert M Kimbrell is CEO and President of the Resource Center for Technology, a non profit educational center, which he founded in 1994.  He has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Doctoral Degree in Administration and Vocational Education. His 32 years in Education included working for the State Board of Education in Alabama for 12 years before retiring in 1994. He has 19 years of classroom teaching in addition to working as an Adjunct Instructor at Athens University for 37 years. He also taught courses for Alabama A&M University, the University of Alabama and has operated The Resource Center for 29 years.  It’s purpose is to provide a Curriculum and Technology Center along with CTE Technical training workshops and Professional Development training for Career and Technical Educators in Alabama.

 


The Resource Center for Technology (Resource Center) is an independent nonprofit 501(c)3 agency established in 1994 to serve as the needed link between Education and Business/Industry. Our mission is to link Education with Business/Industry to improve Instructional Technique, Content, and Product. Our focus is providing workshops and professional development — both live and online — to benefit career technical education. The Resource Center has been a successful CTE Center for over 29 years providing Technical Update Training for teachers in Alabama and for the last five years in Mississippi.  Workshops are planned for Tennessee teachers during the 2023-2024 school year.
