You are invited to participate in the 9th Annual TEAM BUILD competition to be held (date to be determined) at Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy, 2800 Martin Luther King Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
High School Students from all parts of the state will compete to demonstrate the skills learned in their home building and other construction trades. Complete details will be sent as soon as your
invitation to participate has been received. Print and return your signed waiver forms to the following address or bring with you day of event. All students must have a signed consent form on file to participate.

The purpose of the competition is to promote the home building industry as well as showcase the occupational skills of students enrolled in construction and electrical programs.
The competition is designed as a project-based activity allowing the students to utilize the skills they have already learned in their classes.
During the competition students will experience teamwork, leadership, cooperation, collaboration, decision making and other skills the construction industry demand for their employees. These same skills also cross over to the commercial and industrial industry.
The Team Build contest is sponsored by the Resource Center for Technology in association with several construction firms and other businesses and industries around the state.
